Hi, My thrifty people, I wanted to talk to you a little about home repair. I know since we are in quarantine you are making home repairs. Some of you may be tempted to do them yourself. I just want you to know that isn’t always the best idea. Make sure before you start any home-improvement to research how or get a professional. Now if you get a professional make sure you get someone that is a licensed professional. I have had some of my friends say, ” oh, we got this guy we paid upfront he came, worked a few days and, then stopped coming and took off with the money” If you are talented enough and have the training to do home improvements then, by all means, do so and you save a bit of cash. Most home improvement stores have their contractors licensed and bonded and can install things, it may come with an additional price but, it’s better than making a mess of your own home.
